Trusting God

Trusting is leaning depending and believing in the integrity  and reliability of another and not being suspicious of their intentions for you.

The main reason for the stress in your life right now is because of a lack of trusting God’s intentions for you.
One of our problems is that we partially trust God and partial trust is suspicion.
Some people are partially whole because they partially trust!
I many cases we have partial trust in God and partial trust in man made processes!
Jeremiah 17:5-8 (NKJV) 5 Thus says the LORD: “Cursed [is] the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD. 6 For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, [In] a salt land [which is] not inhabited. 7 “Blessed [is] the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
We become suspicious of God because of
1 Not understanding His nature which is found in his word.
The word is like a probiotic or a vitamin…
The flesh has a tendency to forget Gods goodness. If you don’t stay in the word, the nature of the flesh will push you back into suspicion
Psalms 119:11 (NKJV) Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.
2 fouling out but expecting to stay in the game.
Types of fouls
We keep fouling and then act surprised when the  referee does make a call in your favor.
In many areas of our lives, we break the rules because we don’t trust the coach’s playbook.
3 We’ve grown so accustomed to being let down by people.
When people misuse you it’s for their own person gain, when God ruffles your feathers it for you own gain.
Job
Job 13:14-15 (NKJV) 14 Why do I take my flesh in my teeth, And put my life in my hands? 15 Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.
Ester
Esther 4:16 (NKJV) “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which [is] against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”
Hebrew boys
Daniel 3:16-18 (NKJV) 16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 “If that [is] [the case,] our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver [us] from your hand, O king. 18 “But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”
4 Sometimes we have childish behavior when it comes to God. (children on the plane)
2 Samuel 22:31 (NKJV) [As for] God, His way [is] perfect; The word of the LORD [is] proven; He [is] a shield to all who trust in Him.
